SEND & Disabilities

At NT&AS, we are committed to ensuring all children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) can access high-quality, inclusive education. We believe that additional needs should never be a barrier to learning, and we work to support learners in mainstream education or specialist settings.

Our programmes are tailored to meet individual requirements, focusing on academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and personal growth.

EHCP support and personalised planning

NT&AS works closely with local authorities, schools, and families to implement and support Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Our approach includes:

  • Detailed assessments to identify strengths, challenges, and learning gaps

  • Creation of Individual Teaching Plans (ITPs) that outline personalised learning goals, strategies, and progress milestones

  • Regular review and reporting to ensure that plans remain relevant and effective

  • Guidance for schools and staff on delivering inclusive education aligned with EHCP objectives

By putting the learner at the centre, we ensure that all educational provision is relevant, achievable, and aspirational.

Expert teaching and support

Our qualified teachers are experienced in supporting learners with a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH, and complex medical conditions. We combine bespoke one-to-one teaching with a trauma-informed and relational approach, ensuring that every young person receives consistent, safe, and nurturing education.

We also provide advice and training to school staff and families, embedding best practice in inclusive teaching, co-regulation, and social skills development.

Collaboration and multi-agency support

NT&AS recognises that successful SEND provision relies on collaboration. We work alongside:

  • Health and social care professionals to ensure statutory planning and wellbeing support

  • CAMHS and therapy services for co-regulated learning strategies

  • Schools and carers to maintain consistency and reinforce learning

This multi-disciplinary approach ensures joined-up support, helping young people achieve academically, socially, and emotionally.
