A Team Around Every Child

Every young person referred to NT&AS benefits from a dedicated team focused on their safety, education, and progress:

  • Team Managers – coordination, risk assessment, and inclusion

  • Subject Specialists – support for curriculum planning and academic progress from EYFS to A Level

  • SEND Specialists and Assessors – expert advice and support for complex learning profiles

  • Curriculum & Exam Access Coordinators – ensuring equitable routes to accreditation

  • Safeguarding Leads and Advisors – maintaining safety and compliance

  • Data & Admin Team – tracking progress and ensuring timely reporting

Together, they provide the structure, oversight, and consistency needed to achieve positive outcomes.

Our Referral Process

Step 1 – Submit a Referral
Complete our online referral form to outline the young person’s needs, goals, and background.

Step 4 – Ongoing Monitoring
Weekly reports track attendance, engagement, and progress, shared directly with commissioners.

Step 2 – Matching & Allocation
The relevant Team Manager carefully matches each young person with the right teacher based on experience, interests, and support needs.

Step 5 – Review & Adapt
Regular reviews ensure teaching is aligned with EHCP, PEP, or reintegration goals.

Step 3 – Confirmation & Start Date
Provision is typically confirmed within 10 working days — often sooner for urgent referrals.

  • No. We accept single-case spot purchases and long-term service contracts alike.

  • Yes. Our staff regularly attend reviews and provide written progress reports.

  • All staff hold enhanced DBS checks and receive Level 2+ safeguarding training. Provision is regularly reviewed by Team Managers and Safeguarding Leads.
