Equality Through Curriculum Delivery
NT&AS is a registered exam centre. We provide extensive access and inclusion through our diverse curriculum offer. No matter what level of learning difference, there are accredited routes and course options available.
For those operating at a level that requires a Development Matters approach, accredited routes can be taken via ASDAN. The NT&AS complex needs coordinator will advise the best routes available for individual levels of need.
For those young people working at National Curriculum level, there are a number of course options available that accommodate learning differences, from Non Exam Entry route qualifications, to online, on demand functional skills course options, we have a Key Stage Four course to suit most levels of need. In addition, we offer the usual GCSE, AS and Advanced Level options.
To ensure that students are given rights and appropriate access that considers learning differences, our SENDCO expertly coordinates the application of access arrangements to ensure all accommodations, no matter how unusual, are met.
