What is the National Teaching and Advisory Service?

 

The National Teaching and Advisory Service is an education organisation. We work with young people all over England and Wales.

 

We want young people to be able to go to school, college or to get into work.

 

We believe that all young people can achieve if you are given the right help.

 

We believe that everyone has the right to be listened to and achieve the best they can no matter what else they have experienced in life so far.

 

What do we do?

• Listen to you and try and understand ways to help you  succeed
• Help you to become more confident
• Help you manage your own behaviour
• Teach you in subjects that you might not be confident in
• Help you to learn what you need to know for GCSE or other exams
• Help you complete coursework
• Help you to be confident that you can behave in a positive way
• Help you go to school or college

We will work with you, your family and your school to try and make sure that you can succeed.

 

We can work with you at home, at school or somewhere else that suits your own situation.

 

What would we like to know?

• We will listen to what you have to say about your education
• We will listen to your to you hopes and aims for your future
• We will listen to your family
• We will listen to  your teachers
• We will involve you, your family, schools, colleges or employers in planning your education so that everyone can work together.
