About the National Teaching & Advisory Service Formed in 1998, NT&AS is a national education service for Looked After Children and Children In Need. The organisation provides a range of direct, practical, strategic, training and consultancy services to Education and Social Services Departments, Health Authorities and to the independent child care sector. We are the only national organisation which explains and meets the educational needs of Looked After Children and children in need using a wholly inclusive approach. We work directly with children themselves, the focus of which is to research, plan and support mainstream school placements irrespective of children's circumstances or the level of difficulties they may face in their lives.
