NT&AS provides a holistic assessment service that is able to bring together education, health and social work objectives in order to identify young people’s needs and plan for future success.

You may commission comprehensive assessment reports to provide baseline information and to improve multi agency understanding of young people’s needs in order to develop shared objectives.

Our reports are used to contribute to statutory planning including: The Common Assessment Framework (CAF); SEN planning for schools, statement reviews including transitional planning; court proceedings and tribunals.

NT&AS co-ordinates SEN statement reviews for children and young people.

NT&AS assessment and reporting programmes are used to identify the particular needs of young people in areas such as:-

• Social Skills
• Emotional Wellbeing
• Academic Attainment  
• Dyslexia Difficulties

Outcomes of assessment may necessitate referral to NT&AS Educational Psychologist.
